Places remember things people don't. A staircase worn down by feet that stopped climbing it. A wall holding a name no one reads anymore. Snow that kept a track long after the person was gone. Water that stayed disturbed.
After Passage
Project Statement
I didn't set out to photograph traces. I just kept noticing that the most honest thing in a frame was rarely the person.
It was what the person left, or what was there before them and would stay after. The human figure kept shrinking in my work until it became what it actually is: a brief interruption inside something much older.
After Passage is built around that tension. Not arrival. Not the decisive moment. The residue.
