Aashutosh Vyas began his journey in photography in 2020, during the pandemic. What started as learning how a camera works evolved into a disciplined practice of observing light, landscapes, and wildlife.
Based in the greater San Francisco Bay Area, his portfolio spans the Pacific Northwest and South Asia, with a focus on natural environments and animal life. A significant phase of his development took place along the Oregon coast, where he produced thousands of images in changing light and weather, using each frame as a study in composition.
During this time, he studied under Berlin-born photographer Dietmar Krueger, a seasoned landscape artist based in Manzanita, Oregon, whose work has been featured in galleries across the West Coast and the United States. Krueger’s mentorship refined Aashutosh’s understanding of composition, patience, and visual intention.
His work is shaped by continuous refinement, with an emphasis on perfection, structure, and excellence in every image.

Equipment
The primary system is a full-frame mirrorless Canon EOS RP paired with RF 24-105mm and RF 100-400mm lenses. The secondary system is a Hasselblad X1D II 50C with the XCD 35-75mm lens. For aerial photography, a Mavic Pro Platinum is utilized.
